Ladies Into Purchasing Stock, LIPS is a ladies buying group at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo™ (HLS&R™).
LIPS is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization established in 1992. Contributions and donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Funds raised, less expenses, are given back to the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo™ through their various programs.

Since its inception, LIPS has raised over $2.5 million through yearly fundraising events. Because of these outstanding efforts, LIPS is proud to be one of the original members, and the first buyers group, to reach the $1 million mark of the HLS&R™ Silver Spur Club. LIPS is currently at the $2 million level in the Silver Spur Club.

Annual Crawfish Boil
LIPS mission is to raise money to support the youth of Texas in their educational, agricultural, and artistic endeavors. Our goal is to make every child feel as if they are a grand champion winner.
Celebrating Over 30 Years
In honor of Sharon Campbell and Sharon Langford Simmons and the 25th Anniversary of Ladies Into Purchasing Stock, Lot 25 was purchased at the 2017 Swine Auction.

These two ladies had a dream and made it a reality. Over the 30 plus years, lives have been changed and friendships made. It has been said you should put people in your life that make you a better person and that make a difference. Thanks to these ladies and because of them, we are better, stronger and we are making a difference.

For the friendships and the dream we now all share, we, the members of LIPS, are forever grateful.
